Dropper
- A short glass or plastic tube with a rubber used to measure liquids by drop.
HISTORY
In the late 1800s, Louis Pasteur made the dropper pipette, a tool to carry liquids without exposing them to the outside. He named it after himself and used it a lot in his research. This was a big help because before that, there was no good equipment to move chemicals around without letting them touch the air.
